Students in Ms. Wandel's Honors English 7 class recently finished reading Tangerine, a young adult fiction novel written by Edward Bloor. At the conclusion of the unit, students had the option to create either an artistic or a written project. Nearly all students not only selected the artistic option, but also chose the same artistic project: a shadow box depicting a scene from the novel. This year the projects were phenomenal! Students dedicated a lot of time and effort into creating beautiful and skillful works of art!
8th grade students used the paper towel lab to reinforce the steps of the scientific method.
The 8th grade honors students took part in a free Carnegie Science Center Fab Lab workshop where they were challenged to make a design of a vehicle on the computer, send it to be cut out on the Laser Cutter, then drive a course using IPADs.

On Friday, September 22 JROTC and the Physical Education Department joined forces to promote physical fitness, mental toughness and team work in order to live a more healthy life style. The events the students participated in were the inflatable obstacle course, log drills, tire flip, tire pull and stretcher relay. This event also created a bridge that bonded all Bridger’s who participated in the event. A special shout out to 6th period for the being the most motivated class!!!!
“USE OF TRACK BY PUBLIC: The public is welcome to utilize the track during daylight hours Monday through Friday when school is not in session or when students are not using the field for games, practices, events or competitions. These restrictions are in place for the safety and protection of our students as well as any public using the facility.”
The public is welcome to walk the sidewalks outside the stadium and in front of the High School during non-school hours. This area is lit and distance markers will be placed around the loop as a courtesy to the public. We hope this will provide a good alternative for the public when the stadium track is unavailable.
